Five structured phases from first conversation to final handover — transparent, predictable, and collaborative.

How we work

Every Trappnarco project follows the same five-phase framework. Timelines and deliverables vary by scope, but the sequence remains consistent so clients always know what happens next. We provide a written project schedule at engagement, with milestone dates tied to payment stages.

  1. 1

    Discovery & Consultation

    Initial meeting at our Vesterbrogade studio or on-site. We review architectural drawings, discuss lifestyle or business requirements, assess existing electrical infrastructure, and establish budget parameters. You receive a written scope proposal within 5 working days.

    Duration: 1–2 weeks · Fee: 2,450 DKK (credited on engagement)

  2. 2

    Concept Design

    Mood direction, preliminary fixture selections, and layered lighting strategy presented as a narrative document with rough layout sketches. One presentation meeting with revision round included. Concept approval gates progression to technical design.

    Duration: 1–2 weeks · Included in project fee (30% invoiced at start)

  3. 3

    Technical Design

    Detailed reflected ceiling plans, photometric calculations, fixture schedules with product codes, dimming matrices, and circuit load summaries. Drawings issued in PDF and DWG formats for your electrician and architect. Up to two revision rounds included.

    Duration: 2–3 weeks · 40% invoiced on delivery

  4. 4

    Installation Support

    We remain available during installation for contractor queries. Site visits verify mounting positions before ceilings close and after fixtures are installed. Smart projects include pre-commissioning wiring checks. Additional visits: 1,650 DKK per half-day.

  5. 5

    Commissioning & Handover

    Final aim and focus adjustment, dimming curve calibration, scene testing, and client walkthrough. You receive an O&M manual, as-built drawings, supplier warranty register, and programmed smart scenes. Final 30% invoiced on handover.

    Duration: 1–2 days on-site · Standalone fee: from 4,200 DKK

Payment schedule

Standard projects: 30% on signing, 40% on technical design delivery, 30% on commissioning handover. Consultation fee of 2,450 DKK is deducted from the first invoice when you proceed. Invoices are payable within 14 days. All amounts in DKK excluding 25% Danish VAT.
